For the Lost and Confused
The sunshine today seemed to enlighten my lost and confused self. Lately my mood swings have become intolerable. One second I can't stand being alone and the next I just want to isolate myself in a completely lonesome world. My list of people I'm comfortable around has diminished to approximately three. But over the past couple weeks at least I've learned a few things:
1. It sucks to be rejected. Hard core. And sometimes that 20 seconds of insane courage completely backfires and you just want to go die in a hole. But instead you gotta stand up, brush it off, and try again.
2. If you want to kiss someone, don't do it with a toothpick in your mouth. You would think that would be common sense, but apparently not.
3. Sometimes you just gotta throw your hands up in the air and go get a Starbuck's vanilla bean frappuccino with caramel. It fixes all of life's problems.
4. The canyon is a prime spot to sit in solitude and realize everything is going to be okay.
5. The spontaneous decisions are the best decisions.
6. Don't try to dry your shirt by flying it out the car window. While it is surprisingly effective, it will stretch. So I guess if you're trying to stretch out a shirt, get it wet and fly it out the car window.
7. Never ever listen to Kidz Bob. It will forever change the way you hear a song.
8. The most quite and least busy time to eat at Jimmy John's is when the power is out. Just be sure to bring exact change.
9. 7th grade is most certainly the peak of everyone's awkward stage. Cherish those yearbooks.
10. Find a best friend. It makes everything so much more entertaining.
