I lay awake and though my eyes are closed and my body still, my mind is racing at 1,000 mph. I woke up at 4 o'clock am, I'm supposed to be tired, but for some reason, for the first time in my life I didn't want to sleep. Why was that? Because suddenly reality had become better than my dreams.
I've admired from afar since day one of math. His dusty-blond hair and bright blue eyes, the way he laughed and smiled, the way he said my name. Well, actually he didn't really know who I was but every time he said 'Kirsten' (referring to the other girl who happens to have the same name as me) my head would perk up and I'd look over to him in hopes that he was asking for my attention. Nonetheless, it never was me.
But now, now it's my chance.
Now when he sees me in the hall he will yell my name, and this time he is actually referring to me. Now we talk everyday and have actual conversations. Now fate, along with a little behind-the-scenes predetermining, has brought us together-really close together. Have you ever done or seen the rumba? Do you see how close they are to each other? Yeah, were that close. and during those close, intimate moments I look into those bright blue eyes and I can't help but smile larger than life as I fall into his arms.
But I can guarantee in less than a week this will all be over, and then I'll just have to fall asleep pretending it never happened.

I've always had a thing for blue eyes

P.S.
a little girl asked me for an autograph thinking I was Payson Keeler... do you think I look like her?
(even though she doesn't have blue eyes ;)
